This toolkit provides a practical approach to what many consider a complex process: the management of Projects. The Programme and Project Management Toolkit is designed to simplify the processes required to manage a Project successfully from beginning to end. It defines Project Management in simple terms and provides you with all of the documentation, tools and templates required to make your Project a success throughout different phases.
The National Treasury, through its Government Technical Advisory Centre, took the initiative to roll-out the PPM Framework, Guides and Toolkits in all national departments and the nine provinces.
The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) approach was adopted as a basis for the development of the Programme and Project Management Framework. The material is customised to suit South African public sector.
This toolkit is available to all in the public sector. In order to access the toolkit, you need a .gov.za email address.
